What is Crux?

Crux is the Product Intelligence Platform — a workspace for product managers, strategists, researchers, founders, and AI builders who need decisions (and the code that ships them) to stay connected to the evidence behind them.

The problem Crux solves

Product work is scattered. Research lives in documents and transcripts, synthesis happens in spreadsheets, decisions land in decks and tickets, and the build happens somewhere else again. Every hand-off loses context, and by the time something ships, nobody can trace why it exists.

Research and experience, linked

Every Crux project has two tabs — two linked graphs:

• Research holds your evidence: questions, assumptions, evidence, gaps, notes, highlights, personas, journeys, tables, and files.
• Experience describes the product you are building: pages, features, content, menus, and sitemaps. Each entity carries a stable short ID, a description of why it exists, and evidence links back into research.

Because the two graphs stay linked, the "why" travels with the work — into design, into code through MCP, and onto the live site through the browser extension.

From evidence to a plan

Knowing something is only half of it. Plan turns what you have learned into work: milestones for the outcomes you are aiming at, activities for the work under each, and to-dos for the tasks inside those — on an outline, a status board, a calendar, and a gantt timeline. Research items can be assigned to a milestone or an activity, so the evidence behind a piece of work stays one click away, and the Agent can draft the whole plan from a goal for you to edit before anything is saved.

AI in Crux drafts; you decide. Ask proposes answers, updates, and new artefacts, but nothing lands in your project until you click to apply or materialise it — and every item keeps revision history so you can compare and roll back, with a change note on any version to record why it happened.
