Ask your first question

Ask is the AI chat column on the left of your workspace, next to the list and document tabs. It answers from your project's research and experience graphs — not from a blank model chat.

Ask knows where you are

Ask is context-aware. On a list, it answers about the whole Research or Experience tab; with a document tab open, it answers about that specific item. You never need to paste text into the chat — the focus context travels with each question.

Choose a mode

Auto is the right default while you are learning the workspace.

Check the Sources

Every answer cites the items it drew from under Sources. Follow a citation to verify the claim in its original context — it is the fastest quality check you have, and the habit that keeps AI-assisted work trustworthy.

Reach beyond your project

Toggle Web search on when a question needs current information from outside your research. Web results are cited alongside your own sources so you can tell them apart.

A note on credits

Each Ask turn is an AI request and debits AI credits from your plan allowance — you can see the balance in the sidebar.
